Location near family, bus route and not far from city.
A lot of road noise kept going most of night disturbing sleep. Shower rose leaking very badly keeping awake at night. Bathroom door came off hinges. Fuse circuit breaker tripped when electric heater turned on. Bathroom tiles need replacing. Car parking very restrictive and minimal
It was handy to everywhere we wanted to go
The unit smelt of cigarette smoke
it was very expensive for what we got and the caretaker was not very helpful.
Buses were right outside, and lots of choices for eating out.
Doors were very noisy, so if other visitors came in late you would be woken by the squeak and bang of the doors.
I checked in for my 2 week stayed and found that the rooms were disgusting and dirty - they did not represent the pictures or discritpion detailed on the internet. I checked out straight away and refused to stay. I do not think you should advertise this accomodation without a one star rating for having windows.
The location was fantastic and local restaurants very good -
The couch and walls were filthy and kitchen floor sticky - the road noise unbelievable - none of us slept a wink - maybe earplugs as a complimentary offering would have helped - television broke down on Saturday no local or foxtel available all evening - and took 3 phone calls to get attended to - had to wait until caretaker finished his dinner - doors didn't lock or unlock properly and security light at entrance blown - so very wary treading needed - I am not trying to be a pain but i do feel you need to know these things!
Excellent online booking facility that we were able to easily modify in the lead-up to our vacation. Great location for accessing the ferry into the city. Lovely walks and lots of eateries.
We ended up in an apartment block across the road from the apartments that are advertised on the internet. Parking was difficult. We could not use the driveway entry without badly scraping the undercarriage of the car, so we had to maneuver around via the neighboring driveway that belonged to the bakery. The fridge ran non-stop. New door seals or fridge replacement will significantly cut running costs and greenhouse gases. Tap over vanity in bathroom had slight leak. Venetian blinds and air-conditioning vents were very dusty but otherwise the apartment was clean and comfortable. Only one wine glass and cutlery was the bare minimum for two people.
Location I guess, I wish I cOuld think of another positive...
Tired old building with no facilities, lots of road noise
location close to the city centre
driveway into the parking lot was terrible, didnt have enough clearence for my sedan
I swould have expected a "serviced" apartment to be serviced more than once a week and, if not, a vacuum cleaner or at least a brush and shovel to be provided for us to do some minimal cleaning of our own. The standard of cleanliness in the bathroom was not good - no one has cleaned the corners of the shower cubicle for some time - the attention to detail was not good.
Good for our family needs.
They were advertised as 'serviced' however they were not serviced in our 3 days there.
Ease of access to Sydney, one bus ride from right outside the door.
Didn't see any staff the whole time. Had to make a phone call to get keys, luckily we had someone with a mobile with us, although keys were then available straight away.
No instruction with the online booking regarding collection of keys or allocation of parking, no information about elevated rooms requiring access by stairs or lifts, nor availability locally of banking and dining facilities.
Close proximity to the function we were attending.
We felt the bathroom could have been cleaner. The tiles in the shower felt slimy, the wasbasin was not cleaned properly..and some of the crockery and cutlery had not been washed properly after the previous occupants. EFTPOS facilities were not available to us. I had to pay cash...this was an inconvenience as not being from the area I was unsure as to where I could find a bank/ ATM.
it was close to my daughters wedding reception
for the 8 studio suites ,there was only 4 parking spaces
